Another happy user Wednesday 3 July 2002 This is the text of a letter written to Marine Connections, one of our dealers, by a very satisfied user: "Thank you for supplying the Sea-me and the excellent job you made with the installation. I thought you might be interested to hear about a situation I found myself in recently. I was fishing about 26 miles out in the Channel off the Isle of Wight when I found myself in a fog bank with visibility down to less than half a mile. I set course for Chichester and noticed an echo on my radar trailing me by 2 miles. After about half an hour I heard a call on Channel 16 on the VHF radio calling a boat in my position. When I responded it turned out to be the P&O ferry. He asked why my course was varying by 10 degrees and why my speed had dropped momentarily from the 17 knots I was previously maintaining. He obviously thought he was seeing a larger vessel and not the 24 ft boat I was in! I can only put this down to the fact that the ferry was receiving a large echo and I was very glad that you had recommended the Sea-me unit. Yours faithfully IF Braggins"
